“Les Intouchables,” having broken box office records in France, arrives in the United States with a faithfully translated title — “The Intouchables” — that is not quite English. American audiences looking for a suitable French name for this ingratiating comedy of cross-racial friendship might settle on “Déjà Vu,” since it is a story we have seen many times before.

Though maybe not quite like this, or at least not in a while. “The Intouchables,” directed by Olivier Nakache and Eric Toledano and based on a true story, is about two men — one rich, uptight and white; the other poor, exuberant and black — who become best pals in spite of their differences. In place of the customary spoiler alert I will post a cliché warning, since some of the movie’s groan-inducing turns of plot may require equally groan-inducing turns of phrase. I wish I could say them all in French. Or maybe I don’t.” (NY times)

Can you tell us about your best friend?

Life taught me not to have one friend to do everything with. I’m the type of person who has different cool friends to do different cool things with, but I still have beautiful memories of my first friend/Bff. Her name is Adriana Salamé and we still keep in touch.

How’s a typical weekend in your life?

I enjoy waking up “early” in the morning and start the day after a hot shower. It’s pretty awesome haha!  because I always have plenty of time to do the things I plan. I hate breakfast before 10.00am and I like to spend the weekend anywhere outside home where I can lay on the grass. Ohh! and on sundays I draw at “On sundays I Draw“

Can you share one of you recipes with us?

Fluffy Vanilla Frosting (for cupcakes, cakes and more!)

- 4 Sticks of unsalted butter, softened

- Pinch of fine grain sea salt

- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract

- 2 pounds of confectioner’s sugar

- 4-6 tablespoons of heavy cream/milk

Directions: in a larg mixing bowl, cream butter until fluffy, add in salt. Slowly add in confectioner’s sugar. Continue creaming until well blended. Add salt, vanilla and 3 tablespoons of heavy cream/milk. Blend on slow speed until moistened. Add an additional 1 to 3 tablespoons of heavy cream or milk until you reach the desired consistency.
