Making a logo is not an easy job. NOT EASY! I’ve been working on a new logo for my label Ola para Siempre and finally came up with a very simple design. After all, it’s always better to keep it simple.
My awesome friend Vicky lent me this book. This is what I’m reading right now. It is so good, that I try to read slower than usual because I don’t want to get to the end so fast. I told Vicky I love Miranda July so much, that I want to make my special pumpkin soup for her.
This is going to sound like a cheesy Christina Aguilera’s song. I know. But have you ever feel like nothing is worth? like you have no idea what the f#ck you’re doing with your life?. It’s call “hormones”, that’s what my friend Neky told me. And if you are a girl, it will happen every month. If you are a guy, it probably happens when you are hungry or having a lack of sexual activity.
Anyways, this week seemed like one of those weeks. It has also been raining a lot and last but not least, Ruben is gone till friday. I said this week “seemed” like one of those weeks because I thought it was actually gonna be one of “those weeks”, till I realised, it’s been everything but “one of those weeks”.
On monday, ruben’s cousin Vanessa helped me a lot with the making of my new logo. She said to me she “believed” in my product and she knows one day I will be a successful business woman. Then, on thursday, this girl I don’t even know sent me an e-mail asking me for permission for her to write an article about Ola para siempre. On wednesday, another girl did the same. Today, I took a free photoshop lesson with my friend Neky. And tomorrow my friend Vicky and I are shooting (as in photo-shooting) 2 guys who happen to be 2 of the coolest shapers on the gold coast.
Life is good. I have amazing friends who care, the support of people who don’t even know me, and a very cool pair of vintage booties. Life is really good. And now, after this speech of love and joy, I am going to cry in the bathroom, ’cause I really miss my dog, and I’m going to enjoy those tears like a mother effer. Oh boy! we girls love drama!
